I have been building websites using WordPress for over two decades. I love to develop sites in WordPress for a few reasons. This includes:

• I can utilize my SEO skills and get high rankings in Google very quickly with WordPress sites.
• WordPress sites translate into great mobile sites.
• There are a ton of plugins available that allow me to bring just about any functionality into a WordPress site without having to write a line of code.
• I can jump into any existing website designed in WordPress and quickly make changes.
• I started developing websites in 1995. Back then, I was using a combination of hand-coding in HTML and using some of the WYSIWYG programs. There were some great programs in the late 90s that cut down the development time of creating a website.

As my business began to grow, I hired programmers to take over the development of the back-end of the sites my company was developing. At first, I I utilized the talents of a CGI programmer who specialized in Perl. From there, I hired another talented programmer who developed our sites in PHP.

After I hired the first programmer to develop a WordPress site for my company, I started to play around with WordPress and develop some sites with this platform. This gave me the opportunity to acquire new development skills using WordPress, and I have stayed with this platform ever since.

I excel in doing very specific things. I create and recreate websites using the WordPress platform. When I do this, I give my clients great looking and functioning mobile websites. If I am hired to include digital marketing, I will optimize their website, work with Google Console and insure that they will obtain very competitive rankings in Google.

I possess 2+ decades of experience as a business owner and manager coupled with web development and digital marketing skills. While the typical “web developer” will most likely do what you ask them to do, if you are very specific, if you need ideas on how to better utilize your website and online presence, most “web developers” either will not or cannot do this.

My business experience has taught me to look at situations and to see how I can improve these. When I am hired to work on a company’s online presence, I find it relatively easy to understand what their goals are, make recommendations on how to meet those goals, and then implement the solutions.
